2022 — the spreadsheet years

springfit started inside a pilates studio in Sydney's inner west. The owner was running her timetable from a spreadsheet, payments through a tap-and-go reader, and reminders by hand. The "industry standard" platforms cost more than her rent and felt like they were built in 2008.

2023 — the first prototype

We built a booking app for that one studio. Then her friend's studio asked for one. Then a yoga studio in Melbourne. By the end of the year, 12 studios were running on what would become springfit.

2024 — opening up

We opened a founding-customer program: 47 studios, deeply involved in shaping the product, in exchange for permanently-locked pricing and a direct line to the team. Every one of them is still here.

2025 — the operating system

springfit is now a full operating system: bookings, payments, memberships, retention, and AI agents. Still calm, still opinionated, still built for studio owners who'd rather be teaching than tinkering with software.

We're still based in Australia, still small enough that you'll recognise the names of the people you email, and still building toward the same simple promise: run your studio, not your software.
